The recent migration pattern over the last few years to the South of earthquakes in South America, something to look into?

Also note they all are at around the same depth

Well, I just counted 41 quakes in the last 8 hours in the Valparaíso region of Chile, near your first two earthquakes above…most M4-6, and all pretty shallow (25 to 35 km)..and there is a rather ominous looking low pressure region along the tip of South America presently…so will watch to see if anything pops in that area in the next few days…

OMG! Did you notice how there have been a “marching” of earthquakes down the coast of South America from the Blot Echo site, and the site of the Chilean earthquake towards the tip of South America towards the low pressure zone at the bottom of the continent?? If I weren’t so unsure of myself, I would forecast an earthquake in the M4-6 range at 25-35 km in the next 2-4 days at the bottom, or tip of South America, or perhaps just south of it, in the ocean between Antarctica and the tip of South America. That will be my trial run test prediction based on the chain of earthquakes migrating south from the Chilean Blot Echo….

Well, appears that that low pressure zone at the base of South America is migrating northward, so its a good thing I didn’t officially forecast an earthquake…but I will be watching that pattern.

Happened again…Earthquakes in Chile, slowly migrating southward along the coast, then a sudden jump to an 5 pointer just east of the tip of South America. I do think there is something to this pattern.

On average, and perhaps if we exclude influence from atmospheric pressure zones..there seems to be a general short term trend of Southern migration. My initial thought for the post was, will the next annual “significant magnitude” epicenter for South America be located even further South, or/when will the pattern break or reset?
