Location: Concord, San Francisco Bay area … 122’00’W – 37’58’N

    Magnitude: 4.0 – 5.3

    Margin: 150 Radial kilometres

Period: From 13:15 UTC January 23, for 5 days

    Analysis…

The San Francisco Bay Area has not been the recipient of any notable seismic / volcanic correlations during the past 10 days. However, unusual correlations with the same location have occurred today, and although the region of Concord has been experiencing occasional 2+ events in recent days… this correlation “may” influence activity towards the 4+ range !

On 19th Jan at 20:18:20 UTC, an M 5.1 event occurred in the Vanuatu Region… the sun was located on longitude 121’47’W

On 21st Jan at 21:00 UTC, an eruptive event occurred from Mt Klyuchevskoy volcano in Kamchatka… at “12-hours” earlier 09:00 UTC, it was moonset in Concord

On 23rd Jan at 03:19:15 UTC, an M 5.7 event occurred in Eastern New Guinea on coordinates 147’36’E – 6’19’S. At “12-hours Earlier 15:19:15 UTC 22nd Jan, it was sunrise in Concord, and the moon was located on longitude 58’05’E… the opposite longitude calculates as 121’55’W !!

On 23rd Jan at 08:34:31 UTC, an M 5.2 event occurred in Eastern New Guinea within 4 minutes of Arc of the first event. At “12-hours” earlier 20:34:31 UTC it was sunrise on the M 5.7 epicentre, and moonrise in Concord, San Francisco Bay area !!

    Thank you

On Saturday 23rd January, a series of seismic events occurred in the Eastern New Guinea region, comprising of M 5.7, M 5.2, M 5.5 on primary coordinates 147’36’E – 6’19’S. The following table represents the moonrise (MR) / RLT times on the primary epicentre, and the moons longitude position in relation to these times…

    6th Jan – 14:20 UTC …. 122’05’W (MR)
    18th Jan – 00:12 UTC … 121’52’W (MR)
    19th Jan – 00:56 UTC … 122’25’W (MR)
    20th Jan – 01:35 UTC … 121’59’W (RLT) ***
    21st Jan – 02:18 UTC … 122’31’W (RLT)
    22nd Jan – 03:02 UTC … 123’00’W (RLT)

The table indicates that the moon was last in range of San Francisco on 6th January, but this time round it is correlating with a currently active seismic location. This aspect of lunar correlation involving the Eastern New Guinea region, does not occur in respect of the Greater Los Angeles Area !

Lester, good call. I too am about to post a forecast for the bay area. I was looking at 3.9 to 4.9, but the planet is becoming more active and stronger. So I will be looking for 4.6 to 5.6.

    Ephemeral correlation…

On 13th January between times 04:06:55 UTC – 04:08:54 UTC, the sun and moon shared the same longitude positions during the “New Moon” phase. At “12-hours” later 16:06 UTC, it was moonrise in the san Francisco Bay area !

On 27th January at 11:23 UTC, an eruptive event occurred from Mt Sinabung volcano in Northern Sumatra. At “12-hours” later 23:23 UTC, it was moonrise in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles… and moonrise in the Mt Diablo region of San Francisco !
