Location: Icland Lat 62-63N , Long -18- to -24, Eastern side of Iceland. DATe: Feb 27 – March 2, 2021. Reasons, ongoing unrest, similar to seen in the early recordings of this area for volanic epipsodes. Weather system to impact over tonight/sunday from South East. Low pressure right over this area. 5.7 quake on Feb 24th,5.2 today, Feb 27th..and over 3K large quakes 2 to 3 plus. Some reports of ‘steam’ by one parking lot in this area, and increase report of hydrogen sulfate gases. None of this sounds good. Magma has not been reported rising, but the area is uplifting. Katla volcano registered two larger quakes Feb 24th directly in the area of the crater. So very unstable area. With solar activity, WX and volcanic rumblings..a place to watch.
