Period: From 21:40 UTC April 4, for 10 days
Analysis…
The first three locations in the list above have been determined from Solar Noon / Moonset relations with the aforementioned locations on 4th April, whilst other thresholds are located on active volcanoes. These correlations have occurred during the “Last Quarter” moon phase. The fourth location in the Banda Arc region was determined from the furthest lateral position south of the moon during this day.
02:14 UTC = Moonset on Suwanosejima volcano in the Ryukyu Islands Japan on coordinates 129’42’E – 29’38’N… Sun and moonset located on the Bismarck Sea
03:24:13 UTC = Sun and moonset located on longitude 129’42’E Ceram Sea
03:10 UTC = ATB threshold located on Mt Etna volcano in Sicily, and Fagradalsfjall volcano in Iceland… Sun and moonset located on West Papua.
On 4th April between times 00:35:00 UTC – 03:34:42 UTC, the moon reached its furthest south latitude of 25’25’S for the month of April, and remained at this position for the duration of this period. At the latter time of 03:35:42 UTC, the sun was located on longitude 127’05’E, and was joined by the moonset threshold on this longitude in the Banda Arc region of Indonesia.
