    M6+ in highlighted regions for 48hr from time of this post.

    Afghanistan into Tajikistan, Northern Japan, East Timor area, southern Philippines/Indonesia area, eastern PNG area, Burma area, Fiji, and Southern California. Influence of new moon approaching, of possible boundary crossing occurring (using NSO/GONG) around July 18th 1800-2200 UTC. Blot echoes for east/south east pacific, and Afghanistan. Unanswered blots in Afghanistan and Burma from reviewing USGS data, and low pressure/wind convergence. Southern California low pressure winds converging in area of recent M3+ activity (east side of Sierra Nevada near mammoth lakes, through Boron, through Salton Sea into Baja).

    Extending the line of one of my forecasted areas: I have a line in the image posted above over new Britain PNG region which, in this text, I am extending into Bougainville Island.

    Heeding the advice of a fellow observer, and in light of some developments with a few of my previously highlighted areas, I am extending this watch period to its max of 20 days total (July 18 at 0400 UTC to august 7 at 0400 UTC)
