TEC – For Google Earth Layer that is said to be updated every 5 minutes

Ill post my sources for layers here so you guys can say if that works or if there is a better one out there, I’m going to go right down the line of every Pre-Energy variable and try to map them on my own so I can learn about them.

Sadly, most of the popular ones like this (currently appears on SpaceWeatherNews.com) are not so helpful. They don’t readily give us what we need.

Individual stations may be helpful, but the changes in TEC are minimal from the research papers I have read. I have used trimble to locate flux tube foot points penetrating into the ionosphere [termed ionospheric pierce points], examples:

I mean, I think that is pretty rad 🙂 That is about anything useful I got out of trimble.
