Prediction of strong and very strong earthquakes (generally Mw 6>) of the second semester of 2018. I hold that significant quakes, will take place around the following coordinates, considered a radius of 100-150km. Irrespective of magnitude, the quakes forecasted are arranged into 3 categories, according to their potential destructiveness. For brevity reasons, the mid-Atlantic ridge is exempted from this forecast.

GeoPenAugust 5, 2018 at 1:01 pm #5112Today’s M7 on Loloan as well as the previous (July 28-29) M6.4 Gempa and M6 Palue, Indonesia, quakes occured with the approximate magnitudes, near the coordinates and on the dates indicated as dangerous, above. The upcoming solar eclipse on August 11 foreshadows higher seismic activity in the following days.

But PuuOO crater rift area..is really putting out the SO2. Lava flow has eased up. BUT the earthquakes have changed character–a lot deeper and scattered over the entire rift area. Not sure if that even means anything..and I doubt anyone else knows either. You are makes some good analysis calls, I believe.

It was a little bit stronger than expected, yet, such a quake was characterized as dangerous in my post above. My forecast for the magnitude of Vanuatu earthquake which took place in Loyalty Islands on the same day was exact.
