On Tuesday 6th July whilst preparing my lunch, I noted that an M 4.1 event had occurred Northeast of Billings in Eastern Montana on coordinates 107’44’W – 46’21’N. Ordinarily, a 4+ event in Montana doesn’t usually raise any eyebrows, but the inclusion of “Eastern” caught my attention. I decided to check this out further, so I ran a short period T sequence, which revealed the following…
On Tuesday 6th July at 11:44:40 UTC, an M 4.1 event occurred in eastern Montana on coordinates 107’44’W – 46’21’N. At 7 seconds earlier 11:44:33 UTC, an M 4.7 event had occurred in southern Iran on coordinates 53’13’E – 27’49’N. At “12-hours” earlier 23:43:35 UTC 5th July, an M 5.2 event had occurred NNW of Kukuihaele, Big Island, Hawaii.
The T Sequence… Monday 5th July
03:06:00 UTC – It was sunset on the M 4.1 Montana epicentre at this time. At “12-hours” earlier 15:05:19 UTC 4th July, the moon was located on longitude 107’44’W Montana !
03:26:45 UTC – it was sunset on coordinates 53’13’E – 27’49’N pre seismic location of the M 4.7 Southern Iran epicentre… and the moon was located on longitude 72’16’E. The opposite longitude calculates as 107’44’W Montana. This may explain why these two locations had a brief relationship lasting several seconds !
11:26:00 UTC – It was sunrise on the M 4.1 Montana epicentre at this time. At “12-hours” earlier 23:26:00 UTC 4th July, The ATE threshold was located on coordinates 71’39’W – 28’45’S. Earlier on this day, two M 6.0 events occurred Offshore Atacama, Chile on these coordinates at 01:01:35 UTC and 01:29:13 UTC respectively. It is also worth noting that the moon was located on longitude 130’39’E at 23:26:10 UTC… Mt Sakurajima volcano resides on this longitude in Kyushu, Japan !
15:48:37 UTC – The moon was located on longitude 107’44’W Montana, and it was sunrise on coordinates 155’37’W – 20’13’N, pre seismic location of the M 5.2 Hawaiian epicentre !
I sourced the USGS archive for previous seismic activity, between dates January 1921 and the present. And it revealed that only five events between parameters magnitude 4 and 7, had occurred east of longitude 110’30’W in this region !

For lunch… I had char grilled toast, held together by a few surviving wheat molecules… pan dry eggs that could pass for a meteor exhibit at the Smithsonian… and six cups of coffee, which I generously donated to a bunch of guys who were stood on my driveway, next to something resembling a fire truck… 🙁
