A rare M 5.6 event occurred in the south Atlantic Ocean at 16:53:39 UTC today. If you upload http://www.timeanddate.com , select moon light world map from the “Sun & Moon” drop down selection, input 06:34 UTC followed by 17:17 UTC 9th August… using the back arrow between the two times forms a cross in the South Atlantic Ocean on the map. These times represent sunrise / sunset on the M 5.6 South Atlantic epicentre… mark the spot if possible. Input 11:46 UTC 5th August, and the setting lunar terminator is located on the cross… at 11:46:37 UTC 5th August, the M 6.9 earthquake occurred on Lombok Island, Indonesia !. Not very scientific, but it highlights one possible explanation !
The ACE satellite data feeds broke transmission today at 13:34 UTC, it was dawn on Atka Island, Andreanof Islands. When it resumed normal operations again at 15:58 UTC, it was sunrise in Leilani Estates, Hawaii !
Lastly, a significant aspect change occurred in the ACE MAG data between 18:40 UTC – 19:04 UTC. At 18:40, it was dusk on the M 5.6 South Atlantic epicentre, and the moon was located on longitude 122’35’W ( which corresponds to the San Pablo Bay area of San Francisco ! ). These times also combine as moonrise / dawn on co-ordinates 142’45’E – 12’44’N East of Guam. The last time I associated San Francisco with a different region, I missed out on a 6.4 in Vanuatu !!
Thank you…
