Between dates in December of 8th to 17th, I had noted several data sets relating to the Los Lagos Region of Chile… now amended to Xi Region. On 18th Dec at 00:50 UTC, Mt Klyuchevskoy volcano in Kamchatka erupted (ref; proclamations). My model showed that sunset had occurred at this time, on the Los Lagos coordinates listed above. At 1 hour 25 minutes later, I posted this forecast on the basis of this eruption (Coquimbo was determined using ACE contacts).

At 11:39:52 UTC today (20th), an M 6.1 event occurred in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan on coordinates 70’25’E – 36’31’N (USGS). On reviewing my model again, it showed that the ATB threshold was located on these coordinates at 00:50 UTC 18th Dec !

Simple test… load http://www.timeanddate.com … select “sun & Moon” in the headers … select “Day And Night Map” from the drop down list. Sunrise and sunset occurred on this M 6.1 Hindu Kush epicentre today (20th) at 02:26 UTC – 12:06 UTC respectively. Input these times in the map, and place a small “felt pen” mark on the computer screen where these thresholds meet in Northern Afghanistan… then input 00:50 UTC 18th Dec !!

It is unlikely that a notable event will now be forthcoming from the Xi Region, Southern Chile…

    Thank you
