Location: East of Mayor Island, Bay of plenty, New Zealand … 176’23’E – 37’12’S

    Magnitude: 5.5 – 6.8

    Margin: 350 Radial Kilometres

Period: From 22:45 UTC January 29, for 10 days

    Analysis…

During the past few days, low magnitude activity has been increasing in frequency, close to Atarfe in Southern Spain on approx coordinates 3’40’W – 37’10’N. Events are occurring in unprecedented numbers for this region, and may indicate that higher magnitude activity is a possibility. However, my belief is that a pre seismic anomaly on the opposite longitude in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, may be influencing this activity in southern Spain. The following data gives an indication of the frequency of events in the Atarfe region between dates 20th – 28th January…

    20th = 3 … 21st = 10 … 22nd = 8 … 23rd = 17 … 24th = 33 … 25th = 29 … 26th = 42 … 27th = 48 … 28th = 93 … 29th = 82 >>

In an Item mentioned in my Mt Etna forecast, I stated that on 28th January between times 17:13:40 UTC – 17:16:24 UTC, the sun and moon were located on opposite longitudes relative to Earth, for the “Full Moon” period. At 17:13 UTC, it was moonset in Rotorua, North Island , New Zealand, on the M 5.2 epicentre of 24th January, on coordinates 176’22’E – 38’09’S. At 17:17 UTC, it was moonrise in the Atarfa region of Southern Spain on approx coordinates 3’40’W – 37’10’N. When I looked further into this correlation, I discovered that on 18th January, moonset in Atarfa on the stated coordinates at 22:53 UTC, corresponded with moonrise on the M 5.2 epicentre in Rotorua at the same time of 22:53 UTC. This was then followed by moonrise in Atarfa, and on the M 5.2 epicentre at 10:49 UTC. The same alignment repeated again on 19th January as Moonset / moonrise at 23:51 UTC, and moonset / moonrise at 11:14 UTC. The swarm in Atarfa encompassed a small radius, which for the purposes of calculations, I determined coordinates 3’40’W – 37’10’N as the focal point. I investigated the possibility of further lunar equilibrium between Atarfa and North Island NZ, and came up with the following table. The columns represent; Dates, Time of moonset / moonrise in Atarfa, Time of moonrise / moonset in the Bay of plenty on the stated coordinates, and stars to indicate single or double correlations…

The coordinates in the Bay of Plenty, was the most optimal location I could find, to give the best correlating result. I don’t recall past experience of encountering such a frequency of lunar correlations as stated here. To test the significance of this result, I carried out a similar analysis on two separate locations. The longitude distance between 3’40’W Spain and 176’23’E New Zealand calculated as 179 degrees, 57 minutes of Arc, as orientated East to West. First location was Santa Juana in Bio-Bio, Chile on coordinates 72’57’W – 37’12’S… latitude matching the New Zealand location. Second location was Mahuangshanxiang, Northern China, on coordinates 107’00’E – 37’10’N… latitude matching Southern Spain. The longitude distance between these locations calculates as 179 degrees, 57 minutes of Arc, as orientated East to West. Just like the table above, columns represent; Dates, Time of moonset / moonrise in China, Time of moonrise / moonset in Chile, and stars to indicate single or double correlations…

I am uncertain if there is any relevance in comparing these tables, but it is another contributing theory towards explaining possible reasons for the swarming activity in Southern Spain. The first table also indicates that “Full Moon” lunar correlations between Atarfa and the M 5.2 North Island epicentre, were also apparent between Atarfa and coordinates in the Bay of Plenty on 18th – 19th January. Another ephemeral time point that may have contributed towards activity in southern Spain, occurred on 22nd January between times 12:25 UTC – 12:56 UTC. During this period, the moon was located on the ATE threshold (Astronomical Twilight Ends). At 12:25 UTC, the sun was located on longitude 3’20’W… the opposite longitude calculates as 176’40’E !

The ATB threshold time in Atarfa is currently changing down by one minute every two days. In comparison, the ATE threshold times on Mt Etna volcano are currently changing up at one minute per day. On 29th January at 05:50 UTC, the ATB threshold was located on Atarfa… at “12-hours” later 17:50 UTC, the ATE threshold was located on Mt Etna volcano !

    A couple of Hawaii correlations…

26th Jan 15:40 UTC ATB threshold located on Bay of Plenty … ATB threshold located on Mt Kilauea volcano
27th Jan 15:42 UTC ATB threshold located on Bay of plenty … ATB threshold located on Mt Kilauea volcano
28th Jan 15:43 UTC ATB threshold located on Bay of Plenty … ATB threshold located on Mauna Loa volcano

29th Jan 17:26 UTC Sunrise on Bay of Plenty … -12-hours = ATE threshold located on Volcano, Hawaii
30th Jan 17:27 UTC Sunrise on Bay of Plenty … -12-hours = ATE threshold located on Mt Kilauea volcano … Moonrise on Volcano, Hawaii
31st Jan 17:28 UTC Sunrise on Bay of Plenty … -12-hours = ATE threshold on Mt Kilauea volcano

As you can appreciate, these correlations occur in various regions of Big Island, Hawaii, over several days… and may explain the three 3+ events in this region today !

Lastly… something off the beaten track…. On 25th Jan at 09:14 UTC, the ATE threshold was located on the Bay of Plenty, on the stated forecast coordinates… at “12-hours” later 21:14 UTC, the ATB threshold was located on Mt Pinatubo volcano in Luzon Philippines… correlation occurred for one day only !

Continuing this forecast for 10 days from 01:10 UTC February 11

Sighting the ephemeral time points related to “Full Moon” on 28th January, between Rotorua, New Zealand and Atarfe, Southern Spain. Which now includes a 24 hour window correlation with the M 7.7 Southeast of Loyalty Islands epicentre of 10th February !
