    Magnitude: 5.2 – 6.5

    Margin: 350 Radial Kilometres
    ……………………………………………………………….

Location: Viscaino Canyon, South of Petrolia, CA … 124’34’W – 39’40’N

    Magnitude: 4.5 – 5.8

    Margin: 100 Radial Kilometres

Period (both): From 16:30 UTC May 21, for 7 days

    Analysis…

On 10th May at 20:15 UTC, Mt Klyuchevskoy volcano erupted in Kamchatka. The sun was located on longitude 124’39’W… and it was moonrise on Zavodovski Island.

On 18th May at 17:44 UTC, Mt Sakurajima volcano exploded in Japan… it was sunset on Zavodovski Island at this time.

On 20th May at 20:15 UTC, Mt Klyuchevskoy volcano erupted again, 10 days to the minute. The sun was located on longitude 124’36’W at this time.

On 21st May at 05:24 UTC, Mt Ebeko volcano erupted in the Northern Kuril Islands. The ATE threshold (Astronomical Twilight Ends) was located on 124’34’W – 39’40’N Viscaino Canyon.

On 21st May at 12:57:33 UTC, an M 5.2 event occurred in DR Congo… very infrequent occasion. It was sunrise on Viscaino Canyon on the coordinates stated.

On 21st May at 12:55 UTC, a significant aspect change occurred in the ACE data ( time confirmed using 2 hour window). The moon was located on longitude 27’25’W. It is also worth mentioning, the sunrise threshold was located on the Channel Islands, South of Santa Rosa in San Francisco, Ferndale, California… and the ATE threshold was located on Mt Ebeko volcano in Kamchatka !

A moderate ACE aspect change followed at 14:00 UTC… the ATB threshold was located on Mt Ebeko volcano !

On 21st May at 17:40 UTC (pre tense) the RLT (Rising Lunar Threshold) and the sunset threshold, were both located on Zavodovski Island… and it was also sunset on the post seismic M 5.8 Central Mediterranean Sea epicentre of 20th May, at this time

Side notes… California is getting a little crowded, so, small margin for Viscaino Canyon (social distancing !). And birthday wishes to Counselor junior, who is 2 years old today… if memory serves me right… 🙂

    Thank you

Wow, this is three of us all using different techniques and seeing a possible activity in the same general area. My “special point of interest” Snow Mountain West located 160km/100mls east of Viscaino Canyon. I too looked in that area off shore, but so few quakes have occurred in that area I moved my center point north to the shore line.

    You at 4.5 to 5.8
    Me 5.9 to 6.9
    Counselor at 6+ (6.0 to 7.0)

Then I have some of this area Partly covered to just a short ways off shore with my Northern California 4.1 to 5.1. — I need to calculate inches, because the 4.2 that struck today I think is just barely inside my circle. M 4.2 – 28km WNW of Petrolia, CA 2020-05-19 15:58:31 (UTC) 40.454°N 124.562°W 23.6 km depth. It might be a “forecast success” but not what I am looking for. I will have to go hunt for an old volcano nearby to call it a hit.

Takes off his tinfoil hat… if I was going to play in the south Atlantic it would be
    Location: 36°20’34.10″S 17°26’43.23″W
    Range: 160 Nautical Miles
But that’s more the Mid Atlantic ridge I suppose…
