As I get older my sight is slowly going south and the zoom feature in google earth has been my answer for a lot of things in the quakewatch process

that said OLR data is a problem for me at this time as I don’t know how to deal with it yet, I know what I want to see from it, but the where is at a loss right now because I am not able to get lat/long,

What I would like to do is each day at the same time, download that days information and then plot it as its own checkable layer in google earth

in either case as I search to create this process I ran across this site with different model engines

    http://www.es-loule.edu.pt/biogeo/software_en.html

So for this goal I am going to assume that I will need to download the tabular data and batch out the process in QGIS each day and output the kml kmz however it works to find the data to google earth… I was hoping that was done already and I could just download the kml and be off and running, by default my education is in ArcGIS 9 and I have not done enough in Q-GIS to make them equal in skill or comfort yet.

Any ideas or a “fred do it this way , its easier” would help a lot
