During the hours of 5th – 6th June 2021, a significant swarm event occurred at the south coast region of the Salton Sea in southern California. The swarm consisted of many hundreds of members, and the greatest of these was an M 5.3 event west of Calipatria on coordinates 115’37’W – 33’09’N, which occurred on 5th June at 17:55:56 UTC.

On Tuesday 8th June, I noted from the RSOE website that a power outage had occurred in Peidmont, San Francisco Bay Area on coordinates 122’13’W – 37’49’N. This affected several thousand residents, and “unconfirmed” reports stated that this outage may have been due to a downed power line. It also stated that witnesses had seen several “dead birds” in the same vicinity. As birds are always perching on power lines near my own home, and “not” getting electrocuted… I was a little bewildered !

On Monday 7th June at 10:50 UTC, the ATB threshold was located on M 5.3 SoCal epicentre of 5th June. At “One minute” later 10:51 UTC, the ATB threshold was located in Peidmont on the stated coordinates. At 10:52 UTC, it was moonrise on the M 5.3 SoCal epicentre !

On Wednesday 9th June at 11:59 UTC, A class C 1.8 solar flare erupted on the extreme western limb of the sun, from sunspot AR2831. Earth facing and limb flare events are always “calculable” assets, which contribute towards locating pre seismic anomalies. At “one minute” earlier 11:58 UTC, it was moonrise on the M 5.3 SoCal epicentre !

On Thursday 10th June at 08:54:17 UTC, an M 5.0 event occurred in the Lake Tanganyika Region of DR Congo on coordinates 28’15’E – 3’04’S. I believe that most would agree that events in this region are categorised as rare, or at least infrequent. Earlier on this day at 02:52 UTC, the ATB threshold was located on this epicentre. At “One minute” earlier 02:51 UTC, it was sunset on the M 5.3 SoCal epicentre !

Another “rare” event occurred on 10th June at 11:20:15 UTC, when an M 4.6 event occurred on the Ungava Peninsula in Quebec, Canada. At 02:31 UTC on this day, it was sunset on this epicentre. At “one minute” earlier 02:30 UTC, it was moonset on the M 5.3 SoCal epicentre !

Not sure if any of this actually means anything, but if I adjust the timings to match Peidmont, Lake Tanganyaki, Quebec, and a “Solar Flare”… the data calculates a location at coordinates 115’57’W – 33’02’N Fish Creek Wash, East of Ocotillo Wells, California !

Watch this space… and watch out for dead birds !

    Thank you
