How about a little confirmation bias from Marty on Taiwan through magnetometer data:

Hey there… just happened to be up. You concerned about any rare quake for the UK area?

The visa outage lines up with a couple of things at the time it was reported? Was wondering… hoping you don’t have anything significant yourself? I know we’ve seen a quake on your side of the pond before.

Oh man Lester… speaking of busy. I managed to squeeze out only the one forecast for bucaramanga, but later seeing Ben putting the Caribbean up in his latest map and downgraded columbia to Yellow. My Tagus Basin got spilt on either side by the azores 4.8 and an EMSC reported 2 on the south west side of Portugal.

I should have not brushed off the Marianas to Izu Islands region I was eyeing in the TEC data as well. But, my being busy at home has me simply being satisfied with having either mentioned it here or giving you the heads up through a link. 🙂

I still see Madagascar and Mayotte in the TEC data, but the time I need to sift through data…which I know you understand since you need time to do the same…just isn’t on my side for the moment. Just wanted to check in. A busy weekend, it appears that way to me too.

    Lester,

Check out these mag fluxes across the components:

I am curious about some of the usual suspects, but maybe that JEC canary post will hit? Maybe we need to doc and Marty the Caribbean again? I need to peek at GIRO IRTAM. “I’ll be bah-ck!” Some Terminator humor for you 🙂

    Hello Fred,

We would be happy to include you in our misadventures of the seismic kind (how’s that Lester) 🙂

Not sleeping at the moment and found a break to do a quick forecast for Tagus Basin based on an image I took from GIRO IRTAM at UMASS Lowell. Sometimes I offload a bunch of those in here and connect it to seismic potential in regions with high total cloud water, wind, percipitable water, and particulates based on a couple of articles Ben and Todd (from 9 Reece) had found:

Response in the surface atmospheric electric field to the passage of isolated air mass cumulonimbus clouds
    https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1364682617304285

Aerosols and seismo-ionosphere coupling: A review
    https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1364682617302031

I also play with terminators and where they are when there are fluxes in the magnetosphere. I like to refer to the Tromso stackplot website to find the times of larger changes to note (with Lester) the location of sun, moon, and respective terminators.

I more or less try to follow Ben’s model, but I also like to experiment. I also like to support Lester’s T-sequence work because I began the cross paths with him enough times to quit believing in simple coincidence.

Whether you want to experiment on your own in here, or work on something with us, then feel free to do so! HookEcho had been working on Peak times research before taking a break in here too, but worked on a lot of other research with us in here for a time.

We are clearly not afraid of failure in here so don’t hesitate to explore with us!

Lester, I do feel very blessed these days. 🙂 thanks again! I may take advantage of this 12 AM to 2 AM (pacific time) slot I seem to be getting for myself for my brief time away from work…but, that may change tomorrow lol 🙂
