    A few post volcanic correlations…

On 1st March at 18:48 UTC, it was moonset on Mt Veniaminof volcano on the Alaskan peninsula, at coordinates 159’23’W – 56’11’N… and it was sunset on coordinates 21’57’W – 63’52’N Raykjanes Peninsula.

On 3rd March at 14:13 UTC (05:13 loc), eruptive activity was observed at Mt Veniaminof volcano (first activity since 21st August 2020). The moon was located on longitude 155’43’W Hawaii at this time.

On 3rd March at 17:23 UTC, it was sunrise on Mt Veniaminof volcano, and the moon was located on longitude 158’28’E… the opposite longitude calculates as 21’32’W Iceland.

On 7th march at 12:37:20 UTC, the sun was located on longitude 98’20’W… at “12-hours” later 00:37 UTC 8th March, the ATE threshold was located on Mt Sangay volcano in Ecuador, on coordinates 98’20’W – 2’00’S.

On 10th March at 05:23:36 UTC, the ATB threshold was located on coordinates 21’57’W – 63’58’N Reykjanes Peninsula. And the sun was located on longitude 101’40’E… the opposite longitude calculates as 98’20’W Mt Sangay volcano.

On 10th March at 00:36 UTC, the ATE threshold was located on Mt Sangay volcano… at “12-hours” earlier 12:36 UTC 9th March, it was moonset on coordinates 21’57’W – 63’58’N Raykjanes Peninsula. At 12:35:22 UTC, the moon was located on longitude 50’21’W… the opposite longitude calculates as 130’39’E Mt Sakurajima volcano in Kyushu, Japan.

On 11th March at 09:00 UTC, a significant eruption occurred from Mt Sangay volcano. At “12-hours” earlier 21:00 UTC 10th March, the moon was located on longitude 159’24’W Mt Veniaminof volcano !

During the last two weeks, I had noted that there had been an increase of eruptive activity from Mt Sakurajima volcano in Kyushu, Japan, and more predominantly from Mt Suwanosejima volcano in the Ryukyu Islands. Between 26th February and 9th March, there have been 20 eruptive events from Mt Suwanosejima. Prior to this, the last event from Mt Suwanosejima occurred on 13th February. Mt Sakurajima volcano has not been as active to this degree, but there has been a definite uptick in recent days. It was actually a double eruption from Mt Sakurajima on 24th February, that first got my attention to a possible link to the coast of Chile.

This table represents the ATE threshold times on Mt Suwanosejima volcano, and sunrise times on the stated forecast coordinates of 71’56’W – 30’21’S Off the Coast of Coquimbo. I have also included eruptions from Mt Suwanosejima (SUW) and Mt Sakurajima (SAK)…

At this time of year, the sunrise threshold is virtually parallel to the Chile coastline. The correlation between Mt Suwanosejima volcano, and Coquimbo at this point, is acting like a pivot zone i.e. During these posted dates, sunrise occurs progressively sooner at the southern tip of South America. But at the same times, sunrise occurs progressively later in Venezuela… yet during these times, the sunrise threshold is pivoting on the same location in Coquimbo, Chile. If this pivot zone was based primarily on Mt Sakurajima volcano, then it would be located south of Ovalle on coordinates 71’04’W – 30’57’S, at approximately 100 kilometres Southeast of the forecast coordinates. The tables also show that two eruptions occurred from Mt Sakurajima volcano on 24th February, which coincided with the alignment of threshold times in the second table. The time correlation between Mt Suwanosejima and Coquimbo, continues until 17th March. From this date, correlations become sporadic and eventually they go their separate ways. A pause in activity indicated in the first table between 16th – 20th February, may be the result of activity beginning from Mt Etna on 16th February. And may also account for the three consecutive day eruptions from Mt Sakurajima volcano, prior to this date.

    Other correlations…

On 4th March at 09:18 UTC, the ATB threshold was located on the forecast coordinates, and the moon was located on longitude 71’42’W. At this time, the moon was at the influential 15 arc minute distance, east of the forecast location… ref; VC Forecast – 3rd March !

On 6th March at 03:57 UTC, the ATB threshold was located on Mt Etna volcano, and at one minute later, it was moonrise off the coast of Coquimbo.

On 6th March at 16:58:59 UTC, the sun was located on longitude 71’57’W, and it was moonrise on Mt Sakurajima volcano.

On 7th March at 16:58:45 UTC, the sun was located on longitude 71’57’W, and it was sunset on Mt Etna volcano.

On 8th March at 05:49 UTC, it was moonrise on the forecast coordinates. At “12-hours” later 17:49 UTC, it was sunrise on coordinates 177’50’W – 29’36’S post seismic location of the M 7.4 Kermadec Islands event of 4th March.

On 10th March at 23:10:09 UTC, it will be sunset on the forecast coordinates, and the sun will be located on longitude 165’01’W… the opposite longitude calculates as 14’59’E Mt Etna volcano !

With reference to a previous thread titled “Mount Etna and the Mega Quakes”, I have compiled a list of correlations relating to the Krysuvik region of Iceland between dates 16th February – 4th March. Starting with a couple of tables which implies a connection on 16th February, as also stated in the referenced thread for Mt Etna volcano. The following data relates to coordinates 21’57’W – 63’52’N Krysuvic, Iceland. This location was determined as the most favourable point, that the majority of correlations relate too. However, activity in this region has been occurring at a greater expanse. So, a one minute margin would be considered acceptable to comply with the source point.

This table represents the ATB threshold (Astronomical Twilight Begins) times on the stated Krysuvik coordinates, during 10 days in February… followed by sunset times on the pre seismic M 7.4 Kermadec Islands epicentre of 4th March on coordinates 177’50’W – 29’36’S.

On Thursday 4th March, I successfully predicted an M 6.1 event in Sola, Vanuatu. The primary data I used for my determinations, related to a correlation between Mt Sakurajima and Mt Ebeko volcanoes, which occurred on 28th February. I mention this because another significant correlation between these two volcanoes, is going to occur again at 09:22 UTC on 11th March. It will be sunset on Mt Sakurajima, and the ATE threshold will be located on Mt Ebeko volcano at this time. At “12-hours” earlier 21:22 UTC 10th March, it will be sunrise on the Banda Sea, in the same approx location that I gained a hit on 7th March. I also mention 11th March because my analysis shows that correlations with Iceland dry up after 4th March… but resume again on 11th March !!

    On 11th March…

05:17 UTC – The ATB threshold will be located on Krysuvik… and it will be sunrise on Mt Etna volcano.

07:16 UTC – It will be moonset on Mt Sakurajima volcano… at “12-hours” later 19:16 UTC, it will be sunset on Krysuvik !

07:59 UTC – It will be sunrise on Krysuvik… at “12-hours” later 19:59 UTC, it will be sunrise on Mt Ebeko volcano… at one minute later 20:00 UTC, moonrise will also be upon Mt Ebeko !

It is my opinion that if activity from Mt Etna volcano remains constant up to this date. It is likely that consequences of the Sakurajima / Ebeko correlation, may ensue within a short period of days from 12th March. I cannot judge weather a volcano that has been dormant for 800 years, has the potential to erupt. I use long duration correlation with long period volcanoes, and I cannot find a potential partner (seismic / volcanic) to match with this region i.e. the Island of Puerto Rico shared a sunrise / sunset relationship with Mt Taal volcano in the Philippines for nearly 3 weeks during late / early 2019-2020. Puerto Rico then experienced an M 6.4 event (highest on record for this region), and Mt Taal volcano awoke and erupted 5 days later, after being asleep for 42 years. The most probable outcome is an emergence of more notable seismicity in the 5+ range… or even 6+ if all the aforementioned volcanoes experience an eruption within 48 hours of 11th March !

Hey JEC, I have compiled more correlation data which will follow this post. I don’t usually bother trying to forecast volcanoes in Iceland. There are too many possibilities within a short distance of longitude… similar to the problem of predicting either Mt Etna or Mt Stromboli. I appreciate the heads up, and it is good to know that you are familiar with the science of volcanism. I have always had a fascination with volcanoes, but generally I am just a guy who connects A to B, and hopes for a result. My following data may or may not be relevant, but I would be tempted to try “third time lucky” on Iceland if it was my choice… that’s a hint 🙂

I have finished now… but it would be rude and disrespectful of me not to respond to your query.

The antipode for the New Zealand epicentre is located off the coast of Torrevieja, East of Mercia, Southern Spain.

The antipode for the Kermadec Islands epicentre is located South of El Menia in Algeria. This relates to the original M 7.4 epicentre. The M 8.1 event doesn’t count because it was an “aftershock”, and the distance between this event and the original is negligible… it would still equate to Algeria !

The antipode for the M 6.3 Greece epicentre is with a scarp in the South pacific Sea floor called Marlin Rise. This is located 1,975 km’s (1,227 miles) East of the New Zealand epicentre… and has “no” correlation value what’s so ever. I gave my own reason why I believed an earthquake occurred in Greece, in my Mt Merapi forecast, ref; post of 3rd March 1:07 pm.

Antipode… seems to be a familiar word on earthquake sites today !!

Observed… M 8.1 kermadec Islands 4th March at 19:28:31 UTC. At “12-hours” earlier 07:28:31 UTC, it was moonrise in the Concord / Mt Diablo region of San Francisco… and the RLT (4 mins before moonrise) was located on the Santa Rosa City region !

I usually wait until I see contacts in the ACE data, before committing to the San Francisco / Los Angeles regions. I cannot speculate on influences from an M 8.1 event affecting San Francisco in particular, as we don’t get many 8’s. But experience with previous significant events, has resulted in “notable” post seismic consequences on many occasions !

No… current available data suggests a planetary alignment on 28th February, indicated that Mag 8 activity was a possibility, within a short time frame. The main event occurred before my correlation scenario was active. However, planetary alignments cannot be tested for correlation to specific seismic locations. So, if there is an uptick in volcanic activity on the Island of Hawaii (specifically Mauna Loa), in the not too distant future… THEN I WIN !!!

On Wednesday 3rd March, I noted that a focused concentration of nineteen 3+ events occurred in the Grindavik region of Iceland. Divining “focused” as events that have occurred within 30 minutes of each other.

First event occurred as an M 3.0 at 14:22:12 UTC, it was moonrise on Mt Merapi volcano, and the moon was located on longitude 157’56’W… the opposite longitude calculates as 22’04’E Greece. Event prior to this occurred at 11:05:04 UTC.

Last event occurred as an M 3.1 at 16:56:57 UTC… it was sunset on Mt Etna volcano at this time. Next event occurred at 17:33:57 UTC.

Continuing this forecast for 5 days from 01:40 UTC March 4

    Thank you
