A chancy move… but maybe Sumatra and the Indian Ocean has my back !
On Thursday 1st July at 15:06:34 UTC, a “very rare” M 5.2 event occurred in the South Indian Ocean on coordinates 80’45’E – 0’44’S (EMSC). I regard this as a purposeful event, because of the time it occurred… and the contributing “trigger” alignment !
On the day before (30th June), I had posted on an ACE observation in my Trinidad & Tobago forecast. An aspect change had occurred at 15:07 UTC on this day, and had been accompanied by an M 5.2 event in the Easter Island region at 15:07:54 UTC. On this occasion, focus was on moonset east of T & T at this time. And the ATE threshold was located on Mt Piton de la Fournaise volcano on Reunion Island. Obviously when this South Indian Ocean event occurred at a near exact 24 hours later, the moon was long gone from T & T… but the ATE threshold was “still” located on Mt Piton at this time !
On Tuesday 29th June at 23:21:24 UTC, the moon was located on longitude 80’45’E… and the ATB threshold was located on coordinates 80’45’E – 0’44’S. Therefore, a perfect moon / ATB alignment on the South Indian Ocean epicentre. This may be purposeful because of the rarity of the event, and the innumerable odds of when this alignment last occurred on this longitude, or when it will occur again. Taking these facts into account, I decided to try the Dominican Republic as a potential seismic candidate, because it was also sunset on the stated forecast coordinates at this time !
On Wednesday 30th June at 22:11:15 UTC, an M 4.2 event occurred in Southern Sumatra on coordinates 104’36’E – 5’33’S. This event was in fact the first member of a “swarm” that has been ongoing in this region, and has surpassed 40 members at the time of this post. On this day at 16:14:45 UTC, it was moonrise in Southern Sumatra on the stated coordinates, and the moon was located on longitude 165’01’W. The opposite longitude calculates as 14’59’E Mt Etna volcano in Sicily…. perhaps another trigger contribution !
On 30th June at 09:42:23 UTC, the moon was located on 69’49’W Dominican Republic, and the SLT (moonset) was located on Mt Etna volcano. At 22 minutes later 10:05:24 UTC, it was sunrise on the stated forecast coordinates, and the moon was located on longitude 75’24’W… the opposite longitude calculates as 104’36’E M 4.2 Southern Sumatra epicentre !
My goal with this particular game was to try and combine were possible, events of M 5.5+ with ephemeral data, to determine potential pre seismic locations. Unfortunately, the Dominican republic is lacking sufficient promotional data in these required areas. So, its fate rests on a swarm, and a rare event to provide influential correlations. However, I did find two such correlations, which is far less than I would usually consider moving on !
On Sunday 6th June at 23:16:39 UTC, an M 5.7 event occurred in the Kermadec Islands Region on coordinates 176’18’W – 27’42’S. At this time, it was sunset on the stated forecast coordinates !

How to play an “ACE” during a game of Seismic Chess !!!
On Monday 28th June between times 06:38 UTC – 09:20 UTC, a “significant” aspect change occurred in the ACE sattelite Mag data. At “12-hours earlier / later 18:38 UTC, the ATE threshold was located on Palliser Bay in New Zealand on the stated forecast coordinates. I have been watching for correlations with New Zealand for most of June. But, though I had ephemeral data correlating to this region, it was lacking in seismic / volcanic correlations. However, I believe the data is a credible prompt, and it is more so now that this aspect change has “forced my hand”, in a game of Seismic Chess !
On Monday 31st May between times 18:38 UTC – 19:04 UTC, the moon was located on the ATB threshold for the duration of this period. At “12-hours” later 06:38 UTC 1st June, the ATE threshold was located on Palliser Bay !
