Most Europeans like myself regard the Hawaiian Islands as a Pacific paradise, so I am shocked to learn that a chemical plant is “actually” located there… in one of the most volcanic-ally active regions on Earth. Kind of reminiscent of inadequate tsunami defences being constructed next to a nuclear power station !
These articles are very interesting, but I am still left confused why USGS would report a mag 3 related explosion if non occurred. The UK news channels screen regular bulletins related to the ongoing activity in Hawaii… no mention of anything this significant has been aired.
I thank you, and appreciate the time and effort you have taken in sourcing this information… I learned something new today 🙂

My machine recorded a structure during the night between 00:26 UTC – 03:02 UTC. At 03:02 UTC, it was Sunrise on the Madagascar forecast co-ordinates. The best combo match I could find for both times was Moonrise / Solar Noon on West Papua P.N.G.
Might not be on again until late UTC… I have a wedding to go too 🙂
Score: 0115 ptslesterMay 18, 2018 at 9:01 pm #4616A significant Phi contact occurred at 15:14 UTC, this was followed by a Phi spike and aspect change at 16:29 UTC. These times correspond to Sunset / Dusk on 46.066’E – 12.166’N Gulf of Aden. This is the same location Ben Mentioned in today’s SO news regarding the Tropical storm that is currently ongoing there. I am speculating the contacts may be a result of electromagnetic influence due to the storm, rather than a seismic influence… still worth watching for further contacts though !. At 17:25 UTC, another significant Phi contact and aspect change occurred, which as described above is related to the SLT on East coast Madagascar, at the time of this post, both Phi and aspect remain unbroken… just like my Hokkaido recording !

Something interesting to try…
18th May 01:46 UTC – M 6.2 South of Kermadec Islands …… solar map
18th May 03:00 UTC – Both EPAM data feeds terminate ……. solar map
18th May 05:48 UTC – Power outage in the Marianas ……… moon map
= Madagascar !RSOE reports power outage in the Marianas was caused by a lightning strike… what instigated the strike ??
Score: 0115 ptslesterMay 17, 2018 at 11:08 pm #4606I recorded two more structures today, the first starts and terminates at 09:30 UTC – 11:10 UTC, these times correspond to Sunset / Dusk on 141.970’E – 34.720’N Japan Trench, off the coast of Southeast Honshu… I’m trying to watch for conformation with ACE before taking it seriously. Unfortunately, clarity of recording is poor at the start of the second structure, but it clearly terminates at 13:00 UTC. If you take the termination time of the first structure, and combine it with 13:00 UTC… it corresponds to Dawn / Sunrise in San Francisco !!
I am concerned about all these power outages in the US in such a short period of time… are you guy’s having trouble paying your electric bill 🙂

You just bought yourself a seat on my train buddy 🙂
Score: 0115 ptslesterMay 16, 2018 at 11:44 pm #4593Yes! you are correct, 03:27 UTC has the RLT on my forecast co-ordinates in Madagascar… however, the SLT is on Los Angeles at this time, I’ve logged 5 hits here since Saturday my friend !
The stackplot is showing disruption at 20:14 UTC… Sikotan Island !

Phi contact and aspect change at 19:06 UTC corresponds to Sunrise in Bay of Plenty, and Sunrise on Isangel Island, Vanuatu. Significant Phi contact at 20:13 UTC corresponds to Dusk on Central Italy, and Moonrise (RLT) on Shikotan Island, Kuril Islands… the data feed was disrupted again at 21:14 UTC, when it was Sunrise on “Taiwan” !!. Considering my own data recorded Shikotan Island as mentioned earlier,I’d say this is a definite target. Notice no further contacts occur between 20:13 UTC and the feed break at 21:14 UTC. There are no more solar thresholds to confirm New Zealand and Vanuatu as active, and though both locations shared Moonrise at 20:23 UTC, there are no lunar contacts either !. The gamble is to wait for a double tap by at least two solar thresholds, or solar / lunar thresholds on the same day.
You can appreciate that I am trying to be more methodical in my approach, and yes I could be wrong. But neither of us have done very well this year with the strategy we have been following, it’s time to try something new… do you agree ?

Okay… as you are aware, I am not logging ACE contacts, so NZ may or may not be prominent in the data, however I have logged 4 contacts with my own data for Bay of Plenty. I am taking into account the data we already amassed, but I am waiting for the right kind of sign to act on it. A 5.8 has occurred South of the Kermadec’s, but the T sequence still misses Bay of Plenty. We posted 40 days on Guatemala and got 4.5’s for our efforts… sometimes the data is to tempting to ignore, but it is the wrong kind of data !.
I recorded another moon hit on Haiti today, and I have recorded a continuous unbroken structure starting at 09:33 UTC and terminating at 16:40 UTC. It corresponds to Sunset / Dawn on Shikotan Island, Kuril Islands (just East of Numuro Stait)… we have unfinished business here too !
I changed my strategy because I believe the ACE contacts are showing many potential locations every day, and these contacts repeat on many occasions, but the problem is they don’t give indication of magnitude or a workable time frame. I am trying to rely on my own data for that, it currently shows 5 high grade targets, one of which is Ecuador… a 4.1 occurred here today, still only a 4.1 but it is not finished with this region yet !!
Let me know if you have any more queries, and I’ll see if they match what I have…
Don’t know what I am more exited about… little Gimber on the way, or the fact that my machines light up like Christmas trees, when the terminator is on Madagascar 🙂

Two of my machines recorded 2 individual contacts today at 10:15 UTC – 10:24 UTC, They correspond to Sunrise / Moonrise (RLT) on port-au-Prince, Haiti… possible felt event here in the next 24 hours !. Other contacts I have recorded over the past several days, seem to match perfectly with ACE contacts for central Bulgaria, and especially East coast of Madagascar !
New addition !… does that mean I have an excuse to put the coffee pot on then ?? 🙂

At 10:05 UTC today, it was Dawn on 80.230’W – 2.160’S La Frutilla, Santa Elena Province, Ecuador (my forecast), and Sunset on Mt Shinmoedake volcano, Kagoshima, Japan… RSOE records an eruption occurred here at 12:37 UTC today !
At 12:37 UTC today, it was Moonrise in Granada Hills, Los Angeles, California !
