On 13th July at 22:14:49 UTC, an M 5.1 event occurred in Port-Vila, Vanuatu… the moon was located on longitude 125’42’E Mindanao, Philippines at this time. At “12 hours” earlier 10:14:49 UTC, it was sunset on Bali Island, Indonesia.
On 13th July at 23;10:40 UTC, an M 5.0 event occurred South of Lakatoro, Vanuatu… the RLT ( Rising Lunar Threshold) was located on Mt Etna volcano in Sicily, Italy. At “12 hours” earlier 11:10:40 UTC, the ATE threshold was located in Mindanao on the stated coordinates.

On 13th July at 06:22:31 UTC, an M 5.2 event occurred North of Fais, Micronesia. At “12 hours” earlier 18:22:31 UTC 12th July, it was sunset on Mt Etna in Sicily, Italy.

This correlation closely corresponds with analysis for 12th July in the first post above.

At “12 hours earlier 03:08:54 UTC, the SLT (Setting Lunar Threshold) was located in Mindanao on the stated coordinates… and it was sunset in Los Angeles !

On 7th July at 04:44:13 UTC, an M 5.1 event occurred in Java, Indonesia… the RLT (Rising Lunar Threshold) was located on Los Angeles.
On 7th July at 04:56:25 UTC, an M 5.1 event occurred on the Pacific-Antarctic Ridge… the ATE threshold (Astronomical Twilight Ends) was located on Los Angeles.
On 10th July at 06:29:42 UTC, an M 5.3 event occurred on the Carlsberg Ridge… it was Moonrise in Los Angeles.
On 10th July at 17:11:57 UTC, an M 5.0 event occurred in the Tonga Region… 24 hours earlier 17:11:57 UTC 9th July, the SLT was located on Los Angeles.
On 11th July at 18:58:06 UTC, an M 5.3 event occurred in the South Sandwich Islands… at “12 hours” earlier 06:58:06 UTC, it was Moonrise in Los Angeles.
On 12th July at 19:58 UTC, the sun will be located on longitude 118’03’W, and the SLT will be located on Los Angeles… this correlation occurs during Last Quarter moon phase !
Back on track… on 7th July at 09:54:48 UTC, the moon was located on longitude 118’03’W… and it was sunset in Mindanao on the stated coordinates. This correlation also relates to 10th July 09:57 UTC in first post above. Threshold contacts calculate to 118’03’E – 33’58’N Whittier, in the East Los Angeles region. The T sequence shows that Los Angeles has significant correlation with New Britain P.N.G. I would speculate that an event in New Britain may instigate a following response in Los Angeles… notably “felt” or possibly reaching the 4+ range !

On 10th July at 23:31 UTC, a Vona State Eruption was reported to have occurred from Mt Dukone volcano in Halmahara, Indonesia. At “12 hours” earlier 11:31 UTC, the ATE threshold was located on Bali Island, Indonesia.

Score: 0115 pts115 pts115 pts115 ptslesterJuly 9, 2020 at 3:22 pm #9235For potential reference purposes, I conducted a brief analysis of the “last” 4+ event to occur in the San Francisco Bay Area… as per my methodology, it may shed light on future correlations. The analysis only consists of relevant / significant correlations, loading all 5+ events within one month of period in question, would require significant time, which is not warranted for a one off analysis.
On 15th October 2019 at 05:33:42 UTC, an M 4.5 event occurred in Pleasent Hill, San Francisco on coordinates 122’03’W – 37’55’N. Later on this day at 19:42:30 UTC, an M 4.7 event occurred in Tres Pinos, California on coordinates 121’16’W – 36’38’N.
On 5th October at 03:15:08 UTC, the ATE threshold (Astronomical Twilight Ends) was located in the San Francisco Bay Area… the sun was located on longitude 128’22’E… and the RLT ( Rising Lunar Threshold) was located on coordinates 125’00’E – 6’42’N. These coordinates represent the pre seismic epicentre of an M 6.4 event, which occurred in Mindanao, Philippines on 16th October at 11:37:06 UTC… the day after the San Francisco event. Further events at this Mindanao epicentre include an M 6.6 on 29th October, and an M 6.5 on 31st October. On 25th September 2019 at 23:46:43 UTC, an M 6.5 event occurred in Serum, Indonesia on coordinates 128’22’E – 3’27’S. Therefore, at 03:15:08 UTC 5th October… it was solar noon (high noon) on this post seismic epicentre.
On 7th October at 03:12:02 UTC, the ATE threshold was located in the San Francisco Bay Area… and the moon was located on longitude 121’16’W Tres Pinos. It is this correlation that is of greatest significance. Firstly, the ATE threshold and the moon correlate to both locations on the same day, and both events occurred on the same day. Secondly, the analysis can be more easily dismissed, when main focus is with pre and post seismic locations… frequency of events would be detrimental. However, the question of “odds” is key regarding “infrequent” events i.e. how often does the moon and the ATE threshold line up with San Francisco and Tres Pinos ??
My analysis description only allows me to state; ATE threshold in “San Francisco Bay Area”, as it is calculated using my model. Precise ATE / ATB minute calculation, used to be available from the USNO website (United States Naval Observatory). However, this particular service was taken offline in October 2019 for upgrades, and has not yet returned !
In my previous post, an example was given relating to the “ATB” threshold and the moon simultaneously correlating in the San Francisco Bay Area on 8th July. In October 2019, the M 4.5 event occurred 8 days after ATE / Moon correlation. Will this happen again, or will the ATB threshold be “less” influential !!
Score: 0115 ptslesterJuly 9, 2020 at 11:48 am #9234On 8th July at 05:19:00 UTC, an M 4.9 event occurred SSE of Rudna, Poland on coordinates 16’16’E – 51’28’N. According to EMSC records, this was the greatest magnitude event in Poland since an M 4.9 event occurred on 6th February 2010.
At 11:00:09 UTC 8th July, the sun was located on longitude 16’16’E… the ATB threshold was located in the San Francisco Bay Area… and the moon was located on longitude 121’52’W. As example, Mt Diablo in the East Bay Area, resides on longitude 151’53’W.
At 12 hours earlier 23:00:09 UTC 7th July, it was one minute past moonset on Mt Sakurajima volcano in Kyushu, Japan. At the time of this post, there has been no activity from Mt Sakurajima volcano since 09:07 UTC 28th June…day of First Quarter moon phase. At 09:07 UTC on this day, it was sunset on coordinates 140’14’E – 12’03’N pre seismic M 6.2 Micronesia epicentre of 6th July.
This correlation with a significant event in Poland, is inline with the scenario for 8th July in the T sequence listed above.

The USGS has down graded the Western Indian-Antarctic Ridge event of 09:08:24 UTC 8th July, from M 5.6 to M 4.9…after being displayed on their map as 5.6, for 10 hours after the event occurred. As per my methodology, the posted forecast locations are “less” likely to produce a result within magnitudes stated. I do not recall the USGS “ever” making such drastic regrades, as I have been witnessing during the last two months. The current pandemic is obviously having an impact with this organisation. And I would associate recent discrepancies, failed notifications, and multi point downgrades as akin to under qualified people running the show.
Last month I successfully predicted an M 5.9 in New Britain P.N.G… 26 hours later, USGS downgraded this event to 5.1 magnitude. I’ll say that again in case my number dyslexia is affecting my typing… “26 hours later” !!
I make this statement because, although I was on the righteous side of USGS, when this issue was raised by Canyonrat several weeks ago. I for one will no longer be confident that “present” USGS data is 100% reliable. Did an M 4.9 actually occur in Poland this morning, or was it a 3.6 ?… did I waste my time working on that one too !!
My current forecasts will be timed out to permissible period, whilst optional aspects are being considered !
